Setup Guide and Subscription Import

Get your subscription ready in the dashboard, then import it on your device.
This page covers the essential setup steps; see the full guide for detailed instructions.

  • No email address required
  • Unlimited devices
  • 7-day money-back guarantee

Create an account and save your credentials

Start by opening the account creation page in the user dashboard. VPNYR does not require an email address; enter a username and password to create your account. You’ll use the username to sign in, so choose one that’s easy to recognize but doesn’t reveal your identity. Use a password that you don’t use on other sites, and store it securely in your password manager. Don’t put your password in public notes or share screenshots of the login page in public forums.

Before submitting, check that your username is correct and that you entered your password as intended. If the page says information is missing or the username is unavailable, make the requested changes before continuing. Avoid repeatedly clicking the submit button. After creating your account, follow the dashboard prompts to sign in. If you’re still on the login page, use the username and password you just saved.

Once you’re in the dashboard, check that you’re signed into the account you intend to use. Plans, orders, and subscriptions are tied to the account, so use the same one for payment and import. You can explore the account overview and client downloads before choosing a plan. A successful login does not mean your subscription is active; next, choose the billing option that suits you.

First Month Free

Choose a plan and confirm your order

Open the plans section in the user dashboard and compare monthly subscriptions with data packages. Monthly subscriptions are suited to regular use, with data resetting each month on the activation date. Data packages are consumed based on usage and never expire. You don’t need to choose based on your device: VPNYR supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux, with no device limit. Focus on how often you’ll use the service and how much data you need.

Monthly subscriptions: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, or ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packages: ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, or ¥658 for 3000GB. If you often stream video or download large files, pay close attention to the data allowance. If you only access international websites occasionally, compare data packages based on your actual usage. See the plans and pricing page for full pricing and billing details.

After choosing a plan, check the plan name, amount, and billing terms again on the order page, then follow the prompts to pay. VPNYR supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT; the exact steps depend on the payment method selected. Don’t mix payment details from different orders, and don’t create another order just because the payment page is still processing.

After paying, return to the user dashboard to check the order status, then open the account overview to confirm that your subscription appears. If the payment page and dashboard show different statuses, refresh the order record and check that you used the same account before taking any further action. Don’t pay again right away. VPNYR offers a 7-day money-back guarantee. For billing, refund requests, or order issues, see the Help Center. Once your subscription is available, continue to the import link.

Choose This Plan

Get your subscription from the account overview

Open the account overview in the user dashboard and find the subscription, copy link, or client import option. A subscription link is not a regular information page; it lets your client retrieve server configuration. The client uses it to read and update server details, so don’t substitute this page’s URL or the login or plans page URL.

If the dashboard offers one-click import for your client, install the client first, then return to the overview and click Import. Your browser may ask for permission to open the app. Confirm that it’s the right app before continuing. If it doesn’t open automatically, or you prefer to add the link manually, use the dashboard’s copy option and paste the full subscription link into the client’s subscription URL field.

The example below is for recognizing the format only and cannot be used to connect. Always copy the link from your own account overview. Don’t copy the example into your client or change any of the link parameters. After pasting, check for extra line breaks, spaces, or explanatory text. If the link is long, make sure you keep it complete.

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

Treat your subscription link like account credentials. Don’t include it in public screenshots, group chats, or shared documents. If you need help, describe where the message appears and what it says; you don’t need to share the full link. After copying it, install and import it. If you’ve already imported the same subscription, update the existing configuration instead of adding duplicates.

Open Account Overview

Import the client for your platform

Sign in to the user dashboard, open the client downloads section, and choose the VPNYR client for your device. Sign in to get the client for Windows, macOS, Android, or Linux. For iOS, access is provided according to the requirements shown in the dashboard. Getting the client and activating a subscription are separate steps: after installation, you’ll still need to import an active subscription to connect.

These instructions cover proxy clients that support subscription link imports; you don’t need to look for an installer on a marketing page. If the dashboard provides a dedicated import button or platform-specific instructions, follow those first. Menu names vary, but the general process is to add the subscription link, save the configuration, update the server list, then select the imported configuration.

Windows: Add the link in subscription settings

Get the Windows client from the dashboard and install it by following the prompts, then open the app. Find the subscription, configuration, or similar management option and choose Add or Import from link. Paste the full address copied from the account overview into the URL or subscription address field. You can enter a recognizable name, but don’t paste the link into the name field or your password into the subscription address field.

Save the link, then update or refresh the subscription and wait for the server list to appear. If you can see the subscription name but no servers, check that the update completed, then return to the overview and copy the link again. After importing, select this configuration and keep the client’s recommended default settings for now. Then follow the connection verification steps below. If the system asks for network access, check the app’s source before approving it.

macOS: Approve permissions and update the configuration

Get the client for your Mac from the dashboard and choose the right installer as instructed. The first time you open it, macOS may ask you to confirm that the app can launch or request network-related permissions. Read the prompt and verify the app before proceeding. If it asks about a network extension or VPN configuration, follow the system prompts and confirm in the relevant settings. Don’t change other security settings just to dismiss a prompt.

Open the client’s configuration or subscription page and choose Add from URL. Paste the subscription link and save it. Once the update finishes, the configuration should show a server list. If one-click import from your browser has already added the configuration, just update it; there’s no need to create a duplicate with the same name. For help with permission prompts and network extensions, see the full guide. For now, the goal is to load your subscription successfully.

Android: Import from a link and allow the connection

Sign in to the dashboard to get the Android client, then install it by following the system prompts. Open the app and look for Add configuration, Subscription, or Import from link in the configuration settings. Choose a remote link as the configuration source, then paste the subscription address from your account overview. If the app also offers local file import, choose the link option for these steps rather than the file picker.

Save and update the subscription, select the one you just added, then open the server list. The first time you connect, Android may show a VPN connection request. Allow it after confirming it came from the client you just installed. Keep the app in the foreground while verifying the connection. If it disconnects when you switch apps later, check background activity and battery settings in the Help Center. There’s no need to change every setting during the initial import.

iOS: Get the client through the dashboard and add your subscription

Sign in to the user dashboard on your iOS device and check the client downloads section for the access option available to your account. Access to the iOS App Store download link requires an account with a purchased, unexpired plan. If the dashboard asks you to resolve your plan status first, return to the account overview and check it. Don’t use instructions for other platforms as iOS installation steps.

After installation, open the client and use the matching import option provided in the dashboard, or choose Add from URL in the app’s subscription or configuration settings. Save and update the server list. The first time you connect, the system may ask to add a VPN configuration. Verify the app and follow the prompts to allow it. After confirming in the system dialog, return to the client and start the connection; don’t assume it’s connected just because you’re still on the system settings page.

Linux: Load the remote subscription as instructed in the dashboard

VPNYR also supports Linux. Sign in to the dashboard to get the appropriate client, install it according to your distribution and the client instructions, then add the remote subscription link in configuration settings. Update and select the configuration. If system proxy settings, network permissions, or desktop environments differ, start with the default steps. Consult the full guide if you need to make changes; don’t overwrite your current setup with configuration files from another system.

To use another device, repeat the steps to sign in to the dashboard, get the right client, and import your subscription. Unlimited devices doesn’t mean you can ignore your plan’s data allowance; check usage in the account overview. Installing the client, updating the subscription, and connecting successfully are separate steps. Finish by verifying access as described below.

Get the Client

Connect to a server and verify it works

In the client, select the imported subscription and open the server list. Choose a server in a region that matches the service you want to use, then connect. For your first session, start with an available server listed in the dashboard; there’s no need to keep changing advanced modes. If the system asks you to authorize the connection, approve it, return to the client, and check that the connection is on and the right configuration and server are selected.

Next, open your browser and visit the international website you want to use. Check whether the page loads, you can continue through the sign-in process, and the main content opens. The client showing “Connected” only indicates a connection on your device; it doesn’t guarantee that every website will work. Account eligibility, regional rules, and the service’s status can also affect access. Test the services you actually use instead of judging every server by the result from a single website.

If you still can’t access a site after connecting, first check that the subscription is up to date and that you’ve selected the imported configuration. Then check your plan status and remaining data in the dashboard. Try another server and reload the site to see if the issue persists. Change one setting at a time so you can tell what made a difference. Don’t switch servers, change modes, and reinstall the client all at once.

If imports keep failing, permission prompts appear, or the connection drops, check the Help Center for steps based on the issue. To report a problem, use a support ticket in the user dashboard. Include your device’s operating system, client name, the steps that led to the issue, and the error message. Hide your account credentials and subscription link. The more closely your description reflects what happened, the easier it is to troubleshoot.

Once everything works, keep an eye on subscription updates, data usage, and plan status. Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date; data packages don’t expire and last until used. If you upgrade mid-term, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Check the details in the dashboard before proceeding. For ongoing maintenance, renewals, and advanced settings, continue to the VPNYR full guide. That completes the initial setup.
